What can a city do to serve its residents, attract new homeowners and business investment? Provide services that improve the quality of life for all who live here. It’s time to bring our city out of maintenance mode and embody our motto as the “City of Progress.” I want to bring improved services at the library, additional recreation programming, strong senior programming, expanded city hall accessibility, and investment in our parks and green spaces.
Our city is wonderfully diverse and we should celebrate it! Let’s engage every sector of our community - North/South, Madison/Lamphere, Young/Old, Resident/Business - Every race and way of life that is represented in this city. I have a strong grasp of how Madison Heights fits into the region and big ideas about how we can embrace one another and our neighboring cities in order to leverage growth and develop a stronger community.
Our natural resources are a gift that our community has the responsibility to maintain and restore. Trees and green spaces in public areas contribute to the health and well-being of everyone in the city. I will work with the the public works department to focus on replacing lost trees with a comprehensive tree replacement program, ensuring that we have a biodiversity in the tree population and provide educational opportunities for residents as they care for their trees and green spaces.
Throughout the year, I will be posting about my ideas and concerns
both on this website and via social media.
Follow my campaign and give me your feedback.
I want to hear from you!
